Supervisor, Department of Women
Supv. Janice Craig is a third generation “preacher’s kid” in the Church of God in Christ, being born into a sanctified pastoral household. With both her maternal and paternal grandmothers praying out churches, Janice proudly witnessed her devotion to Christ from childhood.
As a youth, she mentored jurisdictionally under the late Mother Emma Crouch in Texas Southwest Jurisdiction under her uncle Bishop T. D. Iglehart. After earning her B.S. degree in nursing, the young First Lady Craig chose to devote her gifts and talents to her family and kingdom work beside her husband Supt. Charles Craig of the Faith Kingdom C.O.G.I.C. in Dallas TX. This devotion to ministry is manifest in the plethora of administrative positions she has held on the district, state and national levels of the church from her teenage years to this present time.
After college, she served under the auspices of the late Bishop J. Neaul Haynes in Texas Northeast First Jurisdiction, becoming a licensed Evangelist and the State Minister of Music. Her administrative positions were myriad in TNE First, including the Executive program committee and Women’s Department Executive staff.
She now serves in the National church as a Vice President of the International Music Department with Dr. Judith McAllister. She is also Regional President/ Coordinator for the International Music Department South Central Region. Supv. Craig is a member of the International Holy Convocation Worship Commission.
In addition to her musical and leadership skills, Evang. Craig has garnered distinction for her anointed Word ministry. She presents regularly at the C.O.G.I.C. National Leadership Conference and has ministered at AIM, the Women’s International Convention, and the
International Holy Convocation. She was honored as one of the “150 Most Influential Women in the Church of God in Christ” in 2015.
In 2017, Evangelist Craig was consecrated as Supervisor of Women for the Texas North Central Jurisdiction, serving with Bishop Robert L. Sample, prelate.
Beyond church commendation, Supv. Craig is founder and CEO of Wealthy Women’s Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit entity whose vision is to empower women to live in the manifest truth that ‘it is God who gives the power to get wealth’ both naturally and spiritually.
Her book -Contend for the Faith- is in its second edition.
Supv. Craig and her husband have been featured on television and in magazines with their children for their successful pioneer home school. The nine Craig siblings’ professional resumes are testaments to their parents’ labor of love, including that of a surgeon, lawyers including a Navy JAG, computer network engineer, two gospel recording artists, education professional, Registered Nurse, a foreign missionary. In addition to their secular accomplishments, most of the Craig siblings hold ministry positions. Two sons are licensed Elders in the Church of God in Christ. Her children’s salvation is Supv. Craig’s greatest joy and she gives God total credit for the manifest grace of all these things.
