Supervisor Janice I. Craig
Supervisor, Department of Women
A third generation “P. K.” in COGIC, Janice traded one pastor’s home for another when she became the collegiate bride of Pastor Charles E. Craig of the Faith Kingdom Church of God in Christ of Dallas, Texas. She soon waived her new nursing career to devote her talents to the young couple’s growing family and church. Her personal sacrifice has been rewarded by the successes of both.
Janice’s church experience extends across the music, educational, youth, and women’s departments from local to national levels. She served in the Texas Northeast First Jurisdiction under the auspices of Bishop J. Neaul Haynes as Minister of Music, as a member of the Jurisdictional Executive Committee, the Jurisdictional Program Committee and the Women’s Executive Committee. She was recently selected to serve as the Assistant Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women for the newly formed Texas Northeast Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. After a brief tenure as Assistant Supervisor of Women for the Texas Northeast Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, she has now been chosen to serve as the Supervisor of Women for the newly formed UAC (United Assembly of Churches) Fellowship.
She serves in the national church as Worship Commission liaison and the South Central Regional President of the International Music Department. Additionally, Evangelist Craig has garnered distinction in the national Church of God in Christ for her anointed Word ministry, having ministered in the A.I.M. convention, the International Women’s Convention, and the National Holy Convocation both in Memphis and St. Louis. She is a frequent class instructor at the National Leadership Conference of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.
The second addition of her first publishing project - Contend for the Faith - was released in August, 2015.
Personally, Lady Craig is also known for the notable Craig family homeschool which has been featured on television and in several publications, including The Whole Truth magazine. The resumes of the nine homeschooled Craig children compile an impressive list including a surgeon, a computer network engineer, a gospel recording artist, two teachers, two lawyers, and a nurse.
Despite her family’s homeschooled success, Evangelist Craig cites the salvation of all her children and their love of the church as her greatest testimony and living proof that the promise of Proverbs 22:6 is true to them that believe in the mighty power of God’s Word.
